Colin having trained in engineering, art and theatre lighting and working in Special Effects for the BBC decided to put his skills into finding a new life for industrial objects which had come to the end of their mechanical existence, permitting a new unity, one that is purely visual.<\/p>\n
Colin\u2019s influences include the work of Jean Tinguely, Anthony Caro, Isambard Kingdom Brunel and David Smith.<\/p>\n
Fishbone Design supports All About Alie (AAA), by raising money for Stem Cell Research into Motor Neurone Disease at the University of Oxford. Alie, co-director of Fishbone Design, lost her battle with Motor Neurone Disease in May 2016. Just after this, AAA reached their fundraising target of \u00a352,000 for one years worth of research.
